When Men Meet God

For some good scripture reading, check out Galatians 1:10-12

Let me start off by saying that I thank God for Christian television and radio.  I’m thankful for awesome Christian authors who share their insight of spiritual truths.  I’m thankful for online sermon streaming and for pastoral blogging (hopefully you are too!).  I get a lot of awesome insight, strategies, and methods from these resources, as do many others.

But with all of these tools out there (and they ARE JUST TOOLS!), never forget that Christ did not die just so others could tell you what God is saying.  Christ died so that He could have a relationship with YOU!  His heart is to reveal revelation knowledge to YOU!  He wants to use YOU to help reach out to the lost adn to encourage teh church.  But if the only revelation we get comes through other people, we will end up playing the the puddles of yesterday’s big move of God instead of riding today’s new wave!

  • Have you had a meeting with God today?  It’s through His revelation knowledge that we can begin to see life change in ourself and others.
  • Amazing things happen when men meet God!  New revelation is discovered.  A closer relationship is formed.  Sin is exposed and repented of.  God finds someone He can trust and use to ride the next wave of His glory.
  • The most important item on your schedule today is this meeting.  So what are you waiting for?  Start thinking, “What could happen when I meet God today?”.

Peter, I would say that God is NEAR us throughout our life. He is only IN us when we surrender our life to Jesus Christ. Thanks for the comment!

  4. chapter18 says:

Love isselflessness. Self is lovelessness. Self and divine love cannot co-exist.
