Teachable Teacher

Thanks to everyone that helped with setting up this past Sunday.  We had eight first time guests with a record attendance.  The best part was looking out over the crowd and seeing that there were a dozen or so people out there that I KNOW needed to experience God and hear his voice on Sunday.  Their lives were a mess from years of living in sin.  Some had received some very troubling news from the doctor.  Some had addictions that they think are a secret, but they’re starting to show.  Everyone of you that helped and volunteered in any way will get the credit in heaven when these people accept Christ as the Lord of their life!  What we do here at Crosswalk REALLY IS A TEAM EFFORT!

A 1st time guest told me that he’s been to several other churches, but he actually felt an atmosphere as soon as he walked in.  He said he genuinely felt comfortable and welcomed.  That’s exactly what we want!  It may have been a lot of work, and it may have taken a lot of planning.  But looking back, I’d do it all over again 100 times just to introduce Jesus into their lives!  THANK YOU CROSSWALKERS FOR BEING THE WORD IN ACTION!!!  As they say….Hang onto your fork, because the best is yet to come!

PS…I’ll try to post a pic of me and Marilyn sitting in that sweet 1941 Ford.  I wasn’t coveting…but it may have been close!
