End of the Year Thanks Is Due

2007 has been a huge year in terms of change at The Church At Powell Valley.  With changes in board members, pastors, ministry positions, and methods, the people of this church deserve a HUGE thank you.  You guys have been great! 

Many people in churches can become so self-absorbed that anything they don’t agree with is a condition for firing people or leaving the church completely.  Being part of the Body of Christ is much more than simply joining a club.  It is a commitment you make for better or for worse.  The only one who can separate you from a particular church should be when God says “It’s time”.

 Continue your selfless diligence.  As Paul says, “For I reckon that the sufferings of the present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory about to be revealed in us.”  (Romans 8:18)  More changes are to come as we investigate new avenues for growth.  God bless you all and keep it real!
